The Sabian SR2 18" Thin Crash/Ride is a factory-refurbished professional B20 cast cymbal that gives you pro-level sound at a budget-friendly price.
What Are Sabian SR2 Cymbals?
- Origin: They start as first-quality professional cast cymbals (such as AA, AAX, HH, HHX, or Vault series) that were used by endorsed artists, displayed at trade shows, sent as magazine reviews, or returned.
- Refurbishment: Sabian strips the original logos and polish, re-lathes and cleans them at the factory, and stamps them with the SR2 logo.
- Alloy: Made from high-quality B20 bronze.
- Character: Because they are repurposed from various pro lines, each 18" thin unit is unique—often weighing roughly 1,300 to 1,430 grams—and can function as a fast, washy crash or a responsive crash-ride.
This crash is fairly heavy has good sustain.
