This is my personal Marantz 2275 receiver that has been cared for and maintained over the years. This is not a unit that has sat neglected in a closet or dirty barn, requiring a complete overhaul, like so many out there. It is nearly perfect cosmetically.

In the time I’ve owned it, the power supply board (including relay) have been professionally rebuilt by Echo HiFi in Portland, OR (where I purchased it). Capacitors have been replaced and adjustments were made as needed by Audio Specialties. All pots and switches have been recently cleaned and lubricated, and all lamps illuminate. Everything works beautifully and the sound is as you’d expect - warm, musical and articulate.

This receiver has lots of flexibility. Lately, I’ve been using the Preamp Out feature to feed music from the excellent tuner and phono stage to powered desktop speakers.

I was going to have the incandescent lamps replaced with LED’s, so I bought a warm white LED kit from Vintage HiFi. Warm white closely replicates the original color pictured. I will leave the decision to install those up to the buyer.

I will package this receiver meticulously for safe transit, including plastic wrap around the unit, protection of knobs and switches, rigid foam for support and double boxing. I want this to go to a good home, ready to play, and will package it accordingly.
