Up for sale is a magnificent, vintage 1972 Guild F-50 BLD (Blonde) Jumbo acoustic guitar. Built in the legendary Westerly, Rhode Island factory, this 17-inch powerhouse is the ultimate embodiment of Guild’s premier flat-top design. With its iconic arched laminated maple back and solid Sitka spruce top, this guitar projects a massive, beautifully balanced, and throaty voice that modern builds simply cannot replicate.

While many 50+ year old vintage acoustics require hundreds of dollars in neck resets or fretwork, this specific instrument is completely Studio-Ready. It is set up beautifully, plays effortlessly up and down the neck, and is ready to go directly to a microphone or a live stage.

Condition & Playability:

Playability: Exceptional. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action is low, comfortable, and buzz-free.

Frets & Neck: The frets have plenty of life left in them. The neck angle is excellent.

Structural Integrity: Solid. The bridge is firmly seated, the top is flat, and there are no structural cracks or issues.

Included is the original 1970s Guild F-50 jumbo hard case. Please note that the case is heavily worn and used with plenty of cosmetic battle scars from decades of road use. However, it remains structurally sound—the latches function, the handle is secure, and it continues to do its primary job of perfectly protecting this incredible guitar.
