I'm selling my Hofner Verythin Standard CT with over $600 in upgrades (completely new gold hardware, handwound boutique pickups and electronics, see details below).
Upgrades:
- handwound Vintage Inspired Pickups Honeybucker Plus (bridge) and Sara-Bucker (neck) with gold covers ($360)
- US-made Pinnacle locking bridge and lightweight locking aluminum stop tailpiece with studs ($70)
- Gotoh open gear tuners ($142)
- Vintage Inspired Pickups 550k VIPots for volume pots (original tone pots; $40)
- new 3-way toggle switch, gold Pure Tone jack, gold screws/pickguard bracket, dome knobs, strap buttons
The guitar is perfectly set up, in excellent condition with very little play wear, comes with great gig bag.
Like with all guitars, you may have to adjust the setup to your liking and/or to adjust it to different climates. As of now, it is set up with D'Addario 10s and plays effortlessly with low action.
