1974 Martin 00-28C nylon-string guitar, serial number 348689.
Spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides, slotted headstock, and 2” nut width. Please note that this is NOT the Brazilian rosewood variant.
This is a player-grade guitar with visible wear consistent with age and use. There are scratches, dings, and finish wear throughout, particularly on the top.
The top has multiple previously repaired cracks. The cracks were professionally repaired and cleated before I purchased the guitar 6 years ago and have remained stable. There is some refinishing around the repaired areas. I had the guitar inspected at a local luthier and was told the repairs were professionally done.
The neck is straight as far as I can tell and the guitar plays well. There is a very faint and intermittent buzz on the open G string, but not a problem when playing.
The bridge, tuners, and hardware appear to be original as far as I can tell.
Includes a later Martin hardshell case, NOT the original case.
