I love Teisco's, I got into them in the 1990's and sold over a 1000 out of my Vintage Guitar Magazine ad before the internet was a thing. Teisco's, Kawai's, Guya's, Zenon, Firstman, Yamaha, Elk, etc. This particular guitar, in this particular color has always been my favorite, even more than the Spectrum V. This guitar came in with a wrong bridge, and we found a more correct bridge online for it. The arm was gone, and we had an odd flat arm, and filed it out to fit the stud that came with it- there is a metal cap down in the spring hole, and the end of the stud hits it if you get aggressive with the tremolo arm, so a stiffer spring or shorter stud/screw would give the tremolo more dive, right now it is very Bigsby like, and needs another friction washer to get the arm really tight, but works as it should, and works great! We really did over this guitar to get it as right as possible, these are funky guitars with tiny frets, so when I say it plays fine it is maybe not set up new Les Paul or SG fine, but pretty good by 1960's Dime Store guitar standards! We love these so much I went and dug out a solid old 60's/70's hard case in nice shape that fits the vibe of this killer guitar. The electronics all work, off and on for each pickup, and a treble/bass rolloff switch that seems to work on the bridge pickup, and make a huge difference when both pickups are on. There is a 3 position tone switch, and each position does something different (check the video). Like a lot of these guitars the tone control rolls off the high end when wide open, and the high end comes back when rolled down, backwards from what we are used to. We had to repair some grounds, so everything seems to do something, but won't swear it's factory. The logo was missing, and we had an original laying around, one of the tacks was gone so had to make one. Overall a stellar color, very Pelham blueish and in nice shape, a few dings and such but looks good.

Fabulous!
