A particularly beautiful 2012 Fender Japan ST62-TX Stratocaster, finished in the classic combination of 3-Tone Sunburst, a rosewood fingerboard and aged white plastics.

The ST62-TX is a Japanese-made '62-style Stratocaster and one of the more desirable models from this era. The TX version originally came equipped with USA Texas Special single-coil pickups, featuring traditional fiber bobbins and cloth wiring. These pickups deliver a full, dynamic Strat tone with a little extra output and bite, while retaining that unmistakable open and articulate vintage character.

The guitar is in excellent condition for its age. The 3-Tone Sunburst finish has a beautiful depth of colour, allowing the natural wood grain to show through. Naturally, there are some minor signs of use, and the hardware has developed some authentic patina and oxidation over the years, adding to its vintage charm. Please refer to the photos for a detailed impression of its condition.

The guitar has recently been thoroughly inspected, serviced and set up to ensure excellent playability. This included adjusting the intonation, string action and tremolo, conditioning the rosewood fingerboard with Dunlop fretboard oil, cleaning the pots and pickup selector switch, and carefully cleaning and polishing the entire instrument.
