The Symetrix SG-1 Signal Gate is a vintage analog noise gate designed to reduce unwanted background noise, hum, and hiss in professional audio applications. One of Symetrix's earliest signal-processing products, the SG-1 offers straightforward, hands-on control over signal gating, making it a useful addition to vintage recording studios, live sound systems, and analog audio setups.

Featuring adjustable Attack, Release, Range, and Threshold controls, the SG-1 allows users to fine-tune how the gate responds to incoming audio signals. Its rackmount design, durable metal enclosure, and classic analog controls make it an appealing piece of vintage studio equipment.

This unit is in good cosmetic condition for its age, showing scratches, scuffs, rackmount wear, and some adhesive residue on the top enclosure. All four control knobs and the front-panel switches are present, and the input/output connections appear intact. Please review the photos for a closer look at its overall condition.
