The Distortion Modeler is a digital pedal released in the early 2000s, capable of recreating 16 types of overdrive, distortion and fuzz inspired by legendary pedals. It features models of the ProCo RAT, Ibanez Tube Screamer, Electro-Harmonix Big Muff, Arbiter Fuzz Face and Chandler Tube Driver, along with several original Line 6 sounds. Its six controls allow you to select the model and adjust Drive, Bass, Mid, Treble and overall Level. Four footswitches let you save and instantly recall four custom presets, while an expression pedal input provides additional real-time control. Rugged and highly versatile, the DM-4 is ideal for guitarists looking to switch quickly between vintage overdrive, thick fuzz and more aggressive distortion without filling their pedalboard with multiple pedals. A classic from the early days of Line 6 modelling, now discontinued, it remains an appealing option for fans of vintage and alternative tones. Sold without a power supply.
