Up for sale is my Roland VP-9000 VariPhrase Processor in very good condition. It’s clean, fully functional, and has been well cared for in a smoke-free studio. It shows only light cosmetic wear consistent with its age. The display is bright and clear, and all knobs, buttons, and jacks work as they should.

The VP-9000 is Roland’s sampler built around VariPhrase technology, which gives you independent, real-time control over the pitch, time, and formant of a sample. You can stretch a vocal phrase without changing its pitch, play a loop across the keyboard with every note staying in tempo, or shift formants to reshape a voice. It does all this with dedicated front-panel knobs and full MIDI control. Decades later it still has a sound and feel that plug-ins don’t quite replicate, especially on vocals and drum loops.
