CONDITION:

This Sherwood Deluxe is in good vintage condition, showing plenty of honest cosmetic wear and character from decades of use.

The sunburst finish displays numerous scratches, scuffs, small dings, finish chips, and areas of wear throughout. There is particularly noticeable finish wear along the body edges, on the back, and along the rear of the neck.

The finish also exhibits age-related checking and general signs of handling. The headstock graphics and decorative appointments have aged beautifully, while the metal hardware shows typical oxidation and patina.

The original-style tuner buttons are all present, and the instrument appears to retain much of its vintage hardware and appointments.

Despite its cosmetic wear, this is a fantastic-looking old lap steel with loads of personality. The wear is part of its charm, giving it that unmistakable vintage aesthetic that collectors and players appreciate.

A seriously cool and unusual piece of lap steel history, perfect for country, blues, Hawaiian music, Western swing, or simply adding something different to your vintage instrument collection!
