Yamaha HS5 Powered Speaker System Black (pair)

The Yamaha HS5 powered studio monitors offer several strong advantages for music production, mixing, and critical listening:

• Accurate, Uncolored Reference Sound: Designed to provide an honest and precise sonic platform rather than flattering the audio, making it easier to spot flaws in a mix so your tracks translate well to other systems.
• Bi-Amplified Power Design: Each speaker features a dedicated 45-watt amplifier for the 5-inch woofer and a 25-watt amplifier for the 1-inch dome tweeter (70 watts total per monitor), delivering clean separation and low distortion.
• Acoustic Control Switches: Rear-mounted Room Control and High Trim switches allow you to attenuate low-end buildup if the speakers are placed close to walls or corners, and fine-tune high frequencies to match your room.
• Compact, Space-Saving Footprint: With a 5-inch woofer and manageable cabinet dimensions (11.2 x 6.7 x 8.7 inches), they fit easily on small computer desks or in tight home-studio spaces.
• Professional Connectivity: Equipped with both balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS inputs to interface cleanly with audio interfaces, mixers, and studio gear.
• Heritage & Quality Build: Built in the spirit of the iconic Yamaha NS10 reference monitors, featuring a heavy MDF enclosure and a specialized mounting ring designed to eliminate unwanted resonance and vibration.
