Fender Coronado 11 - 1967 - Candy Apple Red with Matching headstock

The Coronado is in truly exceptional collector grade condition and comes with the tremolo arm and in 100% original condition and has the matching headstock.

The guitar has been cased for the vast majority of it's life, the Candy Apple finish is rich and vibrant and the headstock has a hint of attractive micro finish checking

I bought the guitar in the mid 90's and have only brought it out on rare occasions the frets are in very good shape with an estimated 80% left.

The guitar has a small ding to the top bout and some minor paint chips to the top of the headstock, a couple of very minor surface/lacquer  scratches on the back, no marks or scratches on the neck and fretboard. Very minimal play wear.

It plays beautifully, crisp and punchy, I play ES330's and the Coronado has a bright bell like quality that I don't get from the Gibson's. It's a real featherweight at 6lbs 12 oz, all electrics work perfectly as do the original tuners.

Comes in a TKL fitted fur lined hard case which is probably mid 80's.

I will be sorry to see it go but it's just not being used at the moment.

I'm open to offers but I'm pretty confident that you will not find a better original collector grade example for quite some time.

Shipping & Collection Details:

Due to the pristine, collector-grade nature of this instrument, collection in person is highly preferred - Aberdeenshire. This allows you to inspect the guitar and guarantees its safe transit.

If shipping is required, it will be packed to professional standards (fully detuned, neck supported, and boxed) and shipped via a specialist courier.
