YAMAHA Tenor YTS-6x4 Tenor Saxophone [1012] (10/09)

"Items in Stock at the Ochanomizu Wind Pal Store

This is a Yamaha tenor saxophone, model YTS-6x4. It is a prototype of the first-generation YTS-62. It features soldered tone holes, making for a luxurious specification. The sound combines the signature Yamaha character with a certain richness reminiscent of foreign-made saxophones, giving this model a unique presence. While there are scattered signs of rust and repair marks throughout, this instrument truly showcases Yamahafs technical expertise and development capabilities. I believe these are specifications unique to a prototype that could not be achieved in mass production. All pads have been replaced and the instrument has been fully adjusted.
