This is an Alesis QS8.2, an 88-key weighted synthesizer in silver, and cosmetically it’s in fair to rough shape, though nothing is broken.
What’s there
- Full 88-key keyboard, with pitch and modulation wheels.
- Five sliders (volume plus four assignable controllers), all caps present.
- LCD screen, blue button panels, and numeric/bank buttons, all present.
- Rear panel: power switch, standard power cord inlet, headphone jack, left/right main outputs, MIDI in/out/thru, two foot pedal jacks, and the PCMCIA expansion slot.
Condition
- Keys: all appear present and level, with none visibly sunken, chipped, or sticking up. They’re dusty and a bit dingy.
- Top panel: heavily soiled. There’s a large dark patch of grime or old adhesive residue below the sliders, another at the far end, and general staining and spotting throughout.
- Edges and back: numerous paint chips and scuffs with brown spots along the rear edge (rust or exposed primer), and chipping on the end cap corners.
- Graphics: the rear “QS8.2” logo is scratched, and some small panel labels are worn.
- Controls: there’s dust and dirt built up in the slider slots and wheel wells.
- Screen: it’s off in the photos, so I can’t tell whether it powers on or the display is healthy.
