Mutable Instruments Shruthi Hybrid Mono Synthesizer 2010 - Present - Various
Mutable Instruments Shruthi 1 with Polivoks filter board.
This little guy was assembled in 2012 or thereabouts. It comes from a DIY kit from Mutable Instruments (RIP). The idea was you assemble the 2-osc digital synth, but you get to choose from a variety of analog filter boards. This one uses the Polivoks filter board and as you can see from pics, all writing is in Russian, comrade.
It's a rare little mono that can do bread-and-butter subtractive sounds, but it really shines at making glitchy, digital ones with lots of modulation. I expect it will find a loving home with one of you modular fellas who likes making those sounds.
Has a small crack in the plastic chassis (see pics) but works just fine and the chassis doesn't fall apart when you pick it up.
Not included: a 7.5V to 12V DC power supply with a 2.1mm DC jack and center-positive polarity (tip: +)
