Epiphone Sheraton Natural Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar – Modified – Used

The Epiphone Sheraton is a classic semi-hollow electric guitar combining an elegant double-cutaway design with dual humbuckers, centre-block construction and the ornate appointments associated with the Sheraton range.

Finished in Natural with gold hardware, this example has also been modified with chicken-head control knobs and a front-mounted Strat-style output jack plate.

This pre-owned guitar is in Very Good Condition, weighs an actual 8.1 lbs and includes a hardcase.

Semi-Hollow Construction

The Sheraton uses a semi-hollow body with a solid centre block, giving it a useful balance of:

• Acoustic-style resonance

• Strong sustain

• Better feedback resistance than a fully hollow guitar

• Clear response with overdrive

• Warm clean and edge-of-breakup tones

This makes it well suited to blues, jazz, soul, rock, indie and alternative styles.

Dual Humbucker Setup

The traditional electronics layout includes:

• Neck humbucker

• Bridge humbucker

• 3-way pickup selector

• 2 x Volume controls

• 2 x Tone controls

The neck pickup is ideal for warmer clean and lead tones, while the bridge pickup offers extra definition for rhythm and driven sounds.

The changes include:

• Chicken-head control knobs

Fair Deal Music Verdict

The Epiphone Sheraton is a versatile semi-hollow guitar with plenty of warmth, sustain and character.

Its centre-block construction and dual humbuckers make it equally comfortable with clean jazz and soul tones or more driven blues, rock and indie sounds.

This particular example has a distinct identity thanks to the chicken-head controls and front-mounted Strat-style jack conversion, making it especially appealing to players who prioritise functionality and individuality over completely original specification.

Presented in Very Good Condition, weighing 8.1 lbs and supplied with a hardcase, this is a distinctive pre-owned Sheraton with plenty of character.
