The Fender Made in Japan JV Modified '60s Stratocaster blends vintage-inspired Strat styling with a number of practical modern upgrades.

Finished in Olympic White with a maple fingerboard, it features a basswood body, substantial Thick Soft “V” maple neck, three vintage-style single-coil pickups and expanded switching via a push/pull Tone control.

This pre-owned example is in Excellent Condition, weighs an actual 7.92 lbs and includes a hardcase.

Made in Japan JV Modified

The JV Modified Series takes inspiration from Fender's classic Japanese Vintage instruments while adding features aimed at modern players.

The combination of a 9.5" fingerboard radius, medium-jumbo frets and vintage-style locking tuners gives this Strat a more contemporary playing feel while retaining its traditional appearance.

Thick Soft “V” Neck

One of the standout features of this model is its Thick Soft “V” neck profile.

It offers a more substantial feel than many modern Fender necks, paired with:

• Maple neck

• Maple fingerboard

• 9.5" radius

• 21 medium-jumbo frets

• 25.5" scale length

• Bone nut

Vintage-Style Pickups & Expanded Switching

Three vintage-style single-coil Stratocaster pickups provide the familiar range of classic Fender sounds.

The standard 5-way selector is joined by a push/pull Tone 2 control that adds the neck pickup in selected positions.

This gives access to additional combinations including:

• Bridge + neck

• All three pickups together

It adds useful tonal flexibility without changing the traditional SSS format.
