JBL AM7212/00-WH Compact Loudspeaker System

The AM7212/00-WH is a compact yet powerful full-range loudspeaker designed for fixed and portable installation in mid-sized venues, houses of worship, and event spaces. Its rotatable waveguide and multiple suspension points make it equally at home mounted vertically or horizontally, adapting to room geometry without sacrificing sonic performance. The white DuraFlex finish and perforated steel grille provide clean aesthetics while maintaining rugged durability in demanding environments.

Audio Performance & Coverage

This system delivers consistent output across a broad frequency range, with 42 Hz to 20 kHz response (±3 dB) and extended reach down to 36 Hz at -10 dB. The 95 dB SPL @ 1W/1m sensitivity means the speaker converts amplifier power efficiently, while the 100 × 100° coverage pattern ensures even sound distribution across medium throw distances, reducing hot spots and dead zones typical of narrower designs.

Design & Build Quality

The enclosure is constructed from multi-ply birch with heavy internal bracing and finished in DuraFlex coating to withstand moisture, dust, and temperature extremes. The 14-gauge perforated steel grille with acoustically transparent foam protects the drivers while maintaining transparency, and the 15 M10 threaded suspension points provide flexible rigging options for various mounting scenarios. Environmental certification to Mil-Std 810 and IP-x3 (IEC529) confirms suitability for outdoor and semi-covered installations.
