1955 Les Paul Custom, original 1955 finish, beautiful refret many years ago, original tuners reinstalled (see photos), includes original black case with key/envelope. No finish crackling in body, only light play/cleaning wear, very faint lines in headstock nitro front and back. Pots date 42nd week 1954 with Grey Tiger tone caps, knobs, covers and all other plastics/screws and electronics/hardware are original. I am the 3rd owner, I find this 1955 Les Paul Custom to be in well above average condition, and it plays and sounds like a dream. The ebony fretboard and jumbo frets look near mint, and with the thin, mid-fifties LP-Custom neck profile.
Very light wear, small scratches, some very small black paint touchups around the edges of some electronics cavities and a couple of other tiny spots, only visible under blacklight, see photos.
This is 65 years old, appreciating in value and truly a piece of playable art. This is the best I’ve seen of the 50’s LP customs. Happy to answer all your questions!
