The P. Mauriat PMT-72 is a professional-class Bb trumpet featuring a matte lacquer finish over gold brass construction.

Key specifications and features include:

• Construction: Gold brass leadpipe, bell (125mm / 4.92"), and main tuning slide.

• Sound: Produces a warmer sound with rich overtones compared to its yellow brass counterpart (the PMT-71), making it ideal for jazz and commercial musicians.

• Bore: Medium-large (11.68mm / 0.460").

• Valves: Monel valves with recessed top caps and heavy-weight bottom caps.

• Design: Features redesigned and repositioned braces, decagonal style finger buttons, Amado water keys, and a round tuning slide with a single brace.

• Included Accessories: PM Deluxe Trekking Trumpet Case.

A round tuning slide matched with a single brace offers the perfect synergy of balance, optimal resistance, and secure slotting throughout the entire range. The redesigned bell taper provides tremendous control and projection while enhancing the timbre.
