There’s something special about returning to your roots, and Keeley Electronics does just that with the Compressor Plus Germanium. Celebrating 25 years of sonic innovation, this pedal honors the legacy of Robert Keeley’s original design while introducing modern enhancements that will have you exploring new tonal landscapes. The moment you plug in, you’ll feel the inspiration flow as the Compressor Plus Germanium breathes life into your sound. This pedal is built for players who demand the best from their tone. With a germanium transistor acting as a buffer and tone-shaping stage, it softens the harsh edges of high frequencies and distorted signals, giving you a beautifully natural sustain that responds to your touch. The controls are intuitive: adjust the LEVEL to compensate for gain lost to compression or dial it in for a boost. The TONE knob brightens your output, while the BLEND control lets you mix your compressed and uncompressed signal to perfection. And with the COMP knob, you can tweak the compression ratio for that perfect touch-sensitive bloom. Expect increased sensitivity and an organic compression that feels alive under your fingers. Whether you’re laying down smooth chords or soaring leads, this pedal coexists seamlessly with the standard Compressor Plus, providing a versatile tool for any guitarist’s arsenal. You’ll be captivated by its ability to enhance your sound without the noise or headroom loss often found in other germanium circuits.
