Gibson Custom Shop 1956 R6 Les Paul Standard 2024 – Double Gold
Excellent condition, all original with no modifications. Clean frets and a straight neck.
There’s something special about this R6. I can honestly say it’s one of the best Les Pauls I’ve owned, regardless of whether they had P-90s or humbuckers. This one has an extra dose of woodiness and attack compared with most others I’ve played, while still cleaning up beautifully when you roll back the volume.
The ’50s C neck profile is very comfortable, not a baseball bat, but not too thin either. And these P-90s are an absolute pleasure to listen to: clear, dynamic, and full of character.
There is some natural finish checking, which I’ve tried to capture clearly in the photos. Aside from the checking, the guitar is in pristine condition.
Weight: 8.31 lbs. Comes with all paperwork, COA, and the original hardshell case (OHSC).
