The Rivera RockCrusher is a premium, high-power reactive load box and power attenuator designed for tube guitar amplifiers. Built by Rivera Amplification in the United States, it allows guitarists to safely crank their tube amps to the sonic "sweet spot" to get rich power-amp overdrive while lowering the speaker output to reasonable volume levels—or silencing it entirely for direct recording.

Unlike cheaper "purely resistive" attenuators that choke your tone and alter the feel of your amplifier, the RockCrusher features a robust reactive internal network. This closely mimics the real-world impedance and electrical interaction of a physical speaker cabinet, preserving the natural tone, dynamics, and touch sensitivity of your amp even at low volumes.

Key Specifications & Features

• Power Handling: Up to 120W RMS continuous capacity.
• Impedance Matching: A physical front-panel switch lets you toggle between 8-ohm and 16-ohmconfigurations to protect your amp's transformers.
• Dual Attenuation Modes: Features a standard stage attenuation selector (cutting volume in 4 dB increments down to -20 dB) and a dedicated "Studio" knob for infinite, ultra-quiet fine-tuning at home.
• Tone Shaping: Equipped with Edge (treble boost) and Warm (low-mid emphasis) switches on the front panel to counteract natural speaker loss when attenuating heavily.
• Direct Outputs & DI: Includes both a balanced XLR out and an unbalanced 1/4" line output with a dedicated front-panel level control, allowing you to feed your raw amp tone directly to a mixer, PA, or audio interface.
• Bombproof Build: Enclosed in a heavy-duty, 16-gauge welded steel chassis with massive convection cooling to handle extreme heat without internal fans.

This amp is fully functional and is in perfect working order. It is in excellent condition. Comes with the IEX power cable.
