Here is a 1969 Martin D-35 for sale. Serial 251301. got this one recently but I keep going back to my modern guitars. This one is a pretty good shape for its age. The top doesn’t have any cracks and has a few blemishes and some checking. The back does have some cracks but they don’t appear to go through the wood. There appears to be a sign of a repair on the neck, it’s done very well and is smooth to the touch. Two spots where the binding is slightly separated. Pickguard looks to be a replacement. Check out the back on this guitar, the Brazilian cuts are just gorgeous and the contrast is striking.
After a close look, It appears that the bridge is slightly lifting, dropping the price to reflect a potential bridge reset in the future.
This guitar has very low action, I’d recommend getting it set up.
