Up for sale is an Epiphone Les Paul Standard '60s Quilt Top in the stunning Faded Cherry Sunburst finish. This guitar is in excellent condition and has been carefully maintained in a smoke-free home. The quilted maple top displays beautiful figuring, and the finish has a vibrant vintage-inspired appearance that perfectly complements the classic Les Paul design.
The control cavity has been professionally enlarged and fully shielded, allowing installation of full-size Gibson pots and traditional Gibson-spec wiring harnesses, something not possible in the stock cavity. The shielding also helps reduce unwanted electrical noise for quieter operation.
For a more aggressive and modern appearance, the original cream plastics have been replaced with black components, including:
- Black speed knobs
- Black pickguard
- Black pickup rings
- Black toggle switch cap
The result is a striking contrast against the Faded Cherry Sunburst finish that gives this Les Paul a unique custom-shop look.
The guitar plays beautifully with comfortable low action, excellent fret life, and fully functional electronics. It is ready for the stage, studio, or collection.
