Greco BM900 Modified Red [H775793] (10/05)
A distinctive model reminiscent of Brian Mayfs sound
Launched as part of Grecofs Project Series, the BM900 is a head-turning guitar featuring an original style inspired by the Red Special. With its asymmetrical body, cherry-red finish, and even the tremolo unit, its appearance is full of character and exudes a presence unlike any other.
The control panel?featuring three pickups along with mini-switches to turn each one on/off and toggle phase?is this modelfs standout feature. It allows for a wide range of combinations, such as series wiring and phase-out, enabling the guitar to express its distinct character not only visually but also sonically. While the output feels somewhat natural, the tone takes on unique nuances depending on the configuration.
The solid construction of the mahogany body and neck also delivers a stable tone and impressive sustain. With its distinctive specifications and practicality, this guitar stands out even among Japanese-made models.
There is a large dent near the 4th-string tuner on the headstock.
The middle pickup has been replaced.
Otherwise, there are signs of wear, including scratches, dents, and some tarnish or rust on parts.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
