This is a very original example, retaining its original finish, original single-coil pickup and electronics, original Kluson single-line tuners, original bridge and saddles, original pickguard and knobs, and the original vintage Fender case.
The guitar shows honest vintage wear, including natural checking, dings and significant play wear on the back of the neck. No structural cracks or significant damage.
The guitar has been professionally refretted and fitted with a new nut, improving playability while preserving its vintage character.
The instrument was professionally appraised by KnowYourVintageGuitar in Belgium. The full appraisal PDF is available to interested buyers upon request. A beautiful and highly original late-1950s Fender, with the increasingly collectible Desert Sand finish, original electronics, ashtray and original Fender case.
