This is an exceptional and personally commissioned PRS Private Stock Singlecut McCarty 594, Private Stock #6825, finished in Faded Royal Blue Smoked Burst.
I personally visited the PRS factory and Private Stock Vault to spec this guitar and hand-select the woods and appointments for the build. This wasn't simply a Private Stock guitar that I purchased from dealer inventory — I was involved in creating it.
The original PRS paperwork documents that the woods for this guitar were personally hand-selected by the customer from the PRS Private Stock Vault, including the curly maple top and swamp ash back. McCarty 594 Faded Royal Blue Sm…
The finished guitar combines a spectacular curly maple top, swamp ash back, curly maple neck and curly maple fingerboard, with extensive East Indian rosewood binding along the top, fingerboard and headstock veneer.
One of the highlights of the build is the elaborate Mosaic inlay package. The birds and Private Stock eagle incorporate paua, mother of pearl, gold and black-lip mother of pearl, pink mussel and black Corian.
The Faded Royal Blue Smoked Burst high-gloss nitro finish showcases the hand-selected maple beautifully and makes this an especially striking example of the Private Stock program.
