Great for clean sound going straight in, also good for running pedals through - I’ve done both in the past for jazz and blues music.
Valves/tubes around 2 years old. Will last as long as you are not pushing or driving it with metal style distortion.
In my opinion as a professional guitarist, this is the best all-round tube amp on the market: the right size and weight, price, control knob settings, versatility etc. Only selling as I’ve moved to digital rig and hardly use this anymore for gigging or teaching. Honestly loved the sound of this amp and will be sad to see it go!
