Yo are viewing a Martin, slope shoulder, 12 fret D-28s with a slotted headstock. This guitar was built in 1976 and is in excellent condition for it's age. It has a few light scratches and minor dings here and there, the most obvious are shown in the accompanying pictures. The action, I would say, is in the medium range but the bridge saddle is as low as I would recommend setting it. The low E string sits at .10" and the high E is at .07" at the 12th fret. The guitar sounds wonderful. Very clear and balanced. The width at the nut is 1 27/32". Ideal for a fingerpicker. The guitar had a pickup when I first got it. I removed the pickup and doweled the endpin hole and inserted the original plastic endpin.
The guitar will be shipped in it's original blue plastic Martin case. The foam neck pad is missing as well as the cloth straps that keep the case top from falling backwards.(see pictures) Included is the original hangtag for the instrument.
