Soundcraft EPM8 High Performance Mixer

The EPM8 is a transparent, solidly built mixing console engineered for recording professionals and studio operators who demand clean audio reproduction and intuitive hands-on control. With its uncluttered surface and professional-grade components throughout, this mixer delivers genuine tracking and mixing performance without unnecessary complexity, making it equally effective for home studios, project rooms, tracking sessions, or installed monitoring systems.

Design & Build Quality

Surface mount technology and close-tolerance components throughout ensure high accuracy and repeatable settings on all EQ and gain controls. The 60mm professional-grade faders provide smooth, reliable channel operation and precise mix automation, while the easily rack-mountable chassis accommodates studio integration scenarios without sacrificing accessibility or durability.

Audio Performance & Signal Path

The transparent GB30 mic preamp—designed by Graham Blyth and featured on Soundcraft's larger console lines—delivers exceptional headroom of +22dB with a wide 55dB gain range for accurate source capture and gain staging. A unique PEAK LED monitors multiple points in the signal chain, lighting progressively brighter as levels approach clipping, giving you clear visual feedback during recording and mixing sessions before distortion occurs.
