This is a wonderful microphone. I wanted to make sure what I was selling is in perfect working order, so I sent it in for a tune-up. The Ribbon was good just needed a slight tensioning to bring it back to new spec.
This is the best sounding ribbon in my opinion. I am only selling this one as I decided I prefer purely passive ribbons and all of my other ribbons are passive. It's more of a workflow thing. The mic sounds spectacular, and if you just want a plug and play mic with works well with any preamp, this is the one.
I included a picture of the invoice showing proof of the inspection/tuning.
Lastly, since i bought a new passive version I will say that this older version comes with a nicer "shock-proof" mount, as well as a wooden box. The new one is in a plastic case.
