2026 Whitney Drums 16 nesting drum kit features a mahogany stain wood finish with 9-ply wooden hoops. This compact nesting kit includes a 16” bass drum, 13” snare plus 10” & 13” mounted toms and the specialized kickstand black mounting rack hardware. The shells are 3-ply birch that have a 2” larger diameter than the heads making the drums sound larger than they look. The small tom nests inside the larger tom and the toms and snare nest inside the bass drum which fits into the included Ahead 20”x 16” bass drum case. I will also include a Yamaha black hardware bag and sleeves for the stands. The Yamaha snare stand is NOT included. The kit was purchased new earlier in 2026 from JT Whitney, the builder. This exact kit was reviewed in depth by drummer Mike Malone who has posted the video review on YouTube (see linked video). The kit was shipped directly to me from Mike after he received it from JT who shipped it new to Mike. The hardware is in excellent shape with no visible scratches or dents. The heads show some minor wear from light playing. The kit has not been gigged by me.
