Vintage Emerson USA Silver Head C Flute B50034 w/ Original Hard Case – Working

For sale is a vintage Emerson flute, made in Elkhart, Indiana, USA, in good used condition. This flute has been tested and works properly without any known functional issues.

The instrument is marked “Emerson – Elkhart, Indiana – USA” on the body. The headjoint is clearly stamped “SILVER,” indicating a silver headjoint. The body is marked B50034, with an additional “8” stamped underneath.

This is a traditional C concert flute featuring closed-hole/plateau keys and a C footjoint, making it suitable for student and general-purpose playing.

Cosmetically, the flute shows noticeable signs of previous use and age. There are surface scratches, tarnishing/oxidation, discoloration, spotting, and general finish wear throughout the body and keywork. Some of the key cups show heavier discoloration and oxidation. These are cosmetic issues and the flute remains functional.

The pads and key mechanisms are present, and the flute is reported to be playing properly. As with any older woodwind instrument, a future cleaning, adjustment, or routine servicing may be beneficial depending on the player's preferences.

The flute comes with the Emerson-branded black hard case shown in the photos. The case has a blue plush fitted interior and shows normal exterior wear from age and use.

Details: Emerson; made in Elkhart, Indiana, USA; serial/marking B50034 with “8” underneath; headjoint stamped “SILVER”; C concert flute; closed-hole/plateau keys; C footjoint; tested and working; original-style Emerson hard case included.

Please review all photos carefully for the exact cosmetic condition and everything included.
