Here we have a rare and beautiful classic in this vintage, Made In the USA, Shure Unisphere I dynamic microphone in GOLD! 🤩
Mic has been fully tested against another Unisphere and an SM58 and sounds sweet! It has a bright, clear and articulate sound that is less wooly than the other Unisphere and clearer, less congested and more detailed than the modern SM58. The signal is hotter than the other two microphones as well.
It requires a 4 pin cable, which differs from a standard XLR. I do not have a spare cable for this mic.
The mic is very clean and the gold coloring is still very bold. There is some wear here and there, most notably around the base (see photos).
