Hello fellow guitarists, collectors, and vintage gear lovers!

Up for sale is a stunning Squier Stratocaster "SQ Series", a true piece of Fender Japan history, crafted at the legendary FujiGen factory between 1983 and 1984. Following the highly acclaimed JV series, the SQ line is world-renowned for its outstanding build quality, beautifully replicating '70s Fender specs. [1, 2]This exact guitar, featuring neck-plate serial number SQ 54417, comes in a classic Black finish over an era-correct nitro lacquer that is starting to age beautifully.Condition & Specifications:

• Cosmetics: This instrument proudly wears its age. The finish shows its first charming "checking lines" (natural relic) and a few minor surface scratches from honest play wear, giving it an authentic, gorgeous vintage vibe. There are absolutely no structural issues or cracks in the wood.
• Neck & Fingerboard: The neck features a dark rosewood fretboard that has aged divinely. It is incredibly smooth, stable, and fast. The headstock is the iconic large '70s style "Palettone", complete with a real vintage cigarette burn on the edge—a classy, non-charred rock 'n' roll touch that tells the true story of this guitar.
• Electronics: For the sake of full disclosure and transparency, the volume pot was replaced by the previous owner (a personal acquaintance of mine). The rest of the electronics and pickups remain period-correct.
• Playability: The guitar is perfect and 100% ready to play. It has a great low action, the frets are in excellent shape, and it delivers that chimey, dynamic, and woody tone that early '80s Japanese Strats are famous for. [1, 2]
