This Vox MV50 AC 50-watt amp head is in excellent condition and fully functional. Comes with original power supply and TourMate travel case.
The Vox MV50 AC is a 1.19-pound, 50-watt hybrid guitar amplifier head that emulates the classic chime and crunch of a Vox AC30 by using Korg's Nutube technology.
Features:
- Preamp: Features a Korg Nutube 6P1 vacuum tube for authentic analog tube warmth and touch response.
- Power Amp: Built with a Class D power section.
- Power Output: Delivers 50W RMS at 4 ohms, 25W RMS at 8 ohms, and 12.5W RMS at 16 ohms.
- Controls & I/O: Gain, Tone, and Volume knobs, a rear Flat/Deep EQ switch for cabinet matching, a headphone/line output with cabinet simulation, and a single speaker output.
- Tone: Expert reviews and real-world testing from Premier Guitar note that it nails the classic British-style AC30 chime and responsive crunch, holding its own surprisingly well against traditional tube amps in a live mix.
