Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR LH guitar in Satin Black

Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR LH Electric Guitar in Satin Black

This left-handed Damien Platinum-6 FR is built for speed and aggression, combining a slim thin 'C' neck profile with 24 X-Jumbo frets and a responsive Floyd Rose Special bridge system. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access ensures solid upper-fret playability without sacrificing body resonance, making it a refined platform for metal, hard rock, and technical progressive work. The satin black finish and platinum bat inlays deliver professional aesthetics matched by the instrument's capable hardware and electronics.

Playability & Feel

The neck measures .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th fret—a precision-focused thin profile that rewards speed and interval work across the 24 X-Jumbo frets. Paired with a 25.5" scale length and 14" fretboard radius, this setup handles aggressive bending, divebombs, and sustained technical passages with the tuning stability provided by the Floyd Rose Special locking nut (1.625" width) and bridge.

Tone & Electronics

The EMG 81 bridge pickup and EMG 85 neck pickup combination delivers high-output aggression and warm, articulate tones via a 3-way switch, while active electronics powered by a 9-volt clip-in battery ensure consistent output and minimal noise across all playing dynamics. Volume and tone controls allow precise shaping of either pickup's character.
