It features the highly sought-after early-2000s Maryland craftsmanship, its powerful original factory humbuckers, and includes its original PRS hardshell case.

The "PRS Fade" & Cosmetic Condition:

• The Top: The original Purple Flame finish has aged gorgeously over the last 25 years. Ambient UV exposure over time has naturally lightened the aniline dyes in the center of the carved maple top, shifting them into a unique, smoky amethyst/lavender hue. This organic "PRS fade" gives the top a true one-of-a-kind vintage character.
• The Body & Neck: Structurally rock-solid with an incredibly comfortable, bolt-on maple neck and smooth 24-fret fingerboard. The nut is fully functional in its current condition for immediate playability without any issues (but it's recommended to have it glued down by a luthier). The headstock shows some typical, natural chipping/dents on the very top tips from light use over the years, which is purely cosmetic. The gloss black back of the body displays some honest, natural cosmetic play wear and buckle swirling from real use, giving it great authentic character.
• Hardware: The bridge saddles, tuner poles, and pickup screws show some natural surface rust, tarnishing, and oxidation from sitting safely in its case, adding a very cool vintage patina to the nickel.
