DESCRIPTIONThe 2023 Bourgeois Touchstone D Vintage/TS brings Dana Bourgeois’ approach to acoustic guitar design into a full-size dreadnought built for projection, balance, and tonal depth. It features an Old-Growth Alaskan Sitka spruce top paired with Indian rosewood back and sides, giving the guitar a powerful voice with strong bass response, clear highs, rich overtones, and plenty of dynamic range.

The Adirondack spruce bracing helps deliver the responsiveness and headroom expected from a high-quality dreadnought, while the mahogany neck provides a comfortable and familiar playing feel. The ebony fingerboard and bridge complement the instrument’s traditional construction and vintage-inspired appearance.

Aesthetically, the Vintage/TS features vintage herringbone purfling, ivoroid binding, Squares & Diamonds fingerboard inlays, a Ziricote headplate, and a mother-of-pearl Bourgeois logo. Nickel Schaller GrandTune tuners and ivoroid bridge pins complete the classic look.

With its combination of premium tonewoods, Bourgeois voicing, traditional appointments, and powerful dreadnought response, this 2023 Touchstone D Vintage/TS is a versatile instrument for flatpicking, strumming, bluegrass, songwriting, and recording.
