The Orange Crush 12 is a popular, compact 12-watt solid-state guitar combo amplifier built by Orange Amplifiers. It is the smallest full-format practice amp in the famous Crush series.
Key Features and SpecsAccording to Orange Amps, the Crush 12 is designed specifically for guitarists who want quality, authentic tones at home or backstage:
- All-Analogue Signal Path: It uses completely analogue circuitry. This gives the amplifier the lively, responsive feel that Orange is famous for.
- Custom Speaker: It features a custom 6-inch "Voice of the World" speaker that keeps your guitar sounding punchy and articulate.
- Tone Control: The top panel includes a 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) alongside dedicated Gain and Overdrive knobs. This layout lets you dial in everything from sparkling cleans to classic gritty rock distortion.
- CabSim Headphone Jack: The headphone output uses Orange's "CabSim" technology. This safely emulates the massive sound of a miked-up Orange 4x12" speaker cabinet for silent home practice or direct recording.
