Product Details
This harmonic saturator is based on the 1970s Interfax Harmonic Percolator, but with added modern features.
It features asymmetrical clipping that emphasizes even-order harmonics, allowing for a wide range of distortion from smooth drive to aggressive fuzz.
It includes HARMONICS for adjusting input gain, BALANCE for setting the output level, and BIAS for adjusting the gain circuit bias.
Furthermore, it has a DRIVE/FUZZ switch; FUZZ mode uses clipping diodes for fuzz, while DRIVE mode removes the diodes for transistor drive.
The footswitch supports both latching and momentary operation.
The sound is characterized by its wide range, from smooth and dynamic drive to strongly saturated fuzz.
By adjusting BIAS, you can create tones with octave-like qualities and strongly gated fuzz, and combining it with HARMONICS further changes the character of the distortion.
By switching between DRIVE and FUZZ, you can enjoy different distortion characteristics within a single unit.
Based on the classic Harmonic Percolator, this model offers a wide range of tonal possibilities beyond simple fuzz.
It allows you to switch between transistor drive and distinctive fuzz sounds with a single unit, making it an attractive option for those seeking a harmonic richness different from typical overdrives and distortions.
Don't miss this opportunity to acquire it!
