What we have here is an original wiring harness from the rare and obscure Gretsch Super Axe from the mid/late 70's! This was Chet Atkins last design with Gretsch and he really went all out for this one. It included a built in compressor and phaser which was pretty unique for the time. The pickups are made in Japan and don't have any identifying marks on them. The circuit is untested as I don't have a way to do so. The parts look to be in good shape but I do not know if it works and the sale is for it as-is.

The not so good:

It appears that there used to be a second black box (I assume this is where the effects circuit is housed) which is not there anymore

One pickup has a non functioning coil - one coil reads fine, and the other does not, it will need to be rewound and is marked with a piece of green tape

Anyways, this could be a good opportunity if you need parts to restore another Gretsch Super Axe or if you're savvy with circuits and you want to install it back into a guitar. These almost never come up for sale so maybe this is your lucky day!
