A sweet sounding early Space Echo- serial # 565678

As I do with all my machines, I opened this up, cleaned all the pots, tape heads, jacks, switches, lubricated the roller bearings, cleaned the face plate and deck. I hit all the chrome with chrome polish, demagnetized the heads, cleaned the pinch wheel with pinch wheel cleaner etc.. It is ready to make some serious echos. Th reverb is thick!

Comes with a good sounding tape and a spare used tape, copy of the English owners guide, a Japanese manual, cleaning and tape loading instructions. Has long, original 1976 Roland cord.

This functions great and looks very nice, but if you look closely, it does have quite a few nicks, glued down spots and divots in the tolex. I adjusted a few of the intrnal trim pots to my liking but you may prefer to do some tweaking. It gets really slow, Echo volume is not as loud as some I have had but it sounds good. See demo on I G

This is a 100V unit. They work just fine on 117v but I recommend a transformer for liability reasons. I carefully pack and ship with insurance and tracking information or you are always welcome to come pick it up at my place in Nagoya. You can even spend a night jamming out on vintage gear and crash in the spare room.
