Ibanez Vintage DB800 Destroyer X Series Active Bass, 1986, Silver
This particular bass was found in a large collection of vintage collectable guitars. This has a fresh set up so the action is very nice. The active pickups are fantastic and with the onboard EQ the sound is FAT. Very nice vintage bass guitar, scratches, dings, dents, chips (see pics). The DB800 is a Destroyer series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1986. It was made in Japan as part of the X series of pointy bass guitars. The DB800 features an angular basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of LO-B pickup's channeled through an active preamp 2-Band EQ. Controls are: Volume, balance and two EQB, an Accu-cast B II bridge, black hardware, a plastic nut and Smooth Tuner B II machine heads. The DB800 was offered only in 1986
