A "Grim Reaper's scythe" dwells within a glacier-white body: the Alexi Laiho signature model, "SCYTHE."

We have received the "E-ALEXI SCYTHE," a model that projects a particularly clean and cold, steely aesthetic among the many V-shaped guitars favored by the late Alexi Laiho, frontman of Children of Bodom.

Featuring a striking white body with black pinstriping and a "Scythe" inlay carved into the fretboard, this instrument embodies Alexi’s aesthetic—a fusion of Nordic lyricism and an aggressive metal spirit.

■ High-Precision Neck-Thru Construction

Neck-thru-body Construction: Employs a neck-thru-body design that delivers superior sustain and exceptional playability in the upper registers. The combination of a 3-piece hard maple neck and an alder body produces a tight, crisp low end and piercing high frequencies.

Thin U Grip & Ebony Fingerboard: ESP’s traditional slim "U-shape" neck profile supports high-speed riffing and shredding without hindrance. The hard ebony fretboard features white binding, which not only sharpens the visual look but also contributes to a clear, defined attack.

Scythe Inlay: An inlay modeled after the "scythe"—the defining identity of this model. It offers excellent visibility on stage and radiates a truly unique presence.

■ A Sharpened Single-Pickup Sound

EMG FH-2 & MM-04 Boost: The guitar is equipped with an EMG FH-2 pickup, which boasts high-power output while retaining the natural dynamics characteristic of passive pickups. Additionally, the "MM-04" preamp/booster—activated via a switch on the body top—allows you to instantly achieve an incredibly punchy, razor-sharp lead tone for solo sections.

■ Stage-Ready Hardware

Floyd Rose (FRT-1000): Equipped with a highly stable Floyd Rose tremolo system designed to handle Alexi's aggressive whammy bar style.

GOTOH SG360-07: Features world-standard GOTOH machine heads, ensuring smooth and precise tuning.
