MARTIN 1975 Martin D12-35 [357799] (09/29)
We have just received a rare 12-string D-35 from the SQ Rod era, manufactured in 1975.
Produced between 1965 and 1995, this instrument features a spruce top and a three-piece Indian rosewood back.
With a slotted headstock and a 12th-fret joint, this model combines the brilliant sound characteristic of a 12-string with the soft low-to-midrange tones typical of the D-35, offering a well-balanced sound whether played with a pick or by fingerstyle.
The bracing, bridge, and frets have been repaired in the past. The top and sides show rice-grain-sized dents throughout, and there are other minor dents and weather checking on the finish scattered widely across the body. While it shows signs of use, this guitar is in excellent playing condition.
