Description:

A pair of Royer R-121 ribbon mics with sequential serial numbers, 18938 and 18939. They're in mint condition and have only been used twice.

The R-121 is the modern ribbon mic most studios reach for. It's hand-built by Royer in Burbank, it's passive, and it's figure-8. It has that smooth, natural ribbon sound, and it can take high volume, so you can put it right on a loud guitar cab without worrying about it. It's a classic on electric guitar, and also great on horns, strings, and drum overheads and rooms.

Having two is what makes this special. With a matched figure-8 pair you can set up a Blumlein pair, the classic stereo setup for rooms and ensembles, or run them as overheads.

Included:

• 2x Royer R-121 ribbon microphones (serials 18938 & 18939)

• 2x original wooden cases with red lining

• 2x Royer mic socks

• 2x Royer cable straps
