PRS Silver Sky John Mayer Signature Electric Guitar - Mojave Brown, Rosewood Fretboard | No Limit Guitar Co, Idaho Falls

The PRS Silver Sky was designed by Paul Reed Smith and built to John Mayer's exact specifications, offering serious players a genuine signature instrument tuned to his personal preferences. Its neck carve, scale length, and fingerboard radius provide a comfortable playing experience, while a modified PRS-style headstock and locking tuners propel it firmly into the twenty-first century. This guitar is built for players who want John Mayer's exact signature tone and feel in a versatile, single-coil-equipped platform.

Product Overview

Park this axe in front of any tube amp, and its sweet-sounding single-coil pickups will churn out glassy, musical tones with excellent note definition across the full range of the neck. A comfortable bolt-on maple neck is patterned after John Mayer's preferences, paired with an easy-playing rosewood fingerboard carrying 22 custom-sized frets, a 25.5" scale length, and a 7.25" radius that gives the guitar a vintage-informed feel. The inverted PRS-style headstock was modified specifically to accommodate John's playing style and improve intonation, while a classic-styled tremolo with PRS's unthreaded trem arm and Gen III knife-edge screws delivers smooth, expressive vibrato. Traditional vintage-style closed-back tuners with modern locking mechanisms keep the guitar reliably in tune, and the build is rounded out with a bone nut, molded metal jack plate, retooled knobs, and PRS's double-action truss rod.
